Programme


Meetings are held the 1st Wednesday of the month unless otherwise stated. The venue is Centre 68, Westgate Methodist Church (near the bus station). Visitors are welcome to come and ‘dip a toe in the water’. There is an entrance fee of £2 per meeting.

Twigs Way is a professional garden historian and will be talking about this variant of “ag lab” employment
2 April Dating and Identifying Victorian Photographs
Tom Doig will give useful advice on helping to decide when that unnamed photo in your collection was taken

4 June Traditional Eel Catching in the Fens
Peter Carter is the last person in the Fens catching eels in the traditional way
2 July Nene Valley Railway
Brian White, the curator will be talking about this living museum near Peterborough – the local home of Thomas
August No meeting but we are organising an event in Orton Longueville
